Hey y’all! So– a few weekends back my childhood best friend and I took a trip to beautiful Savannah, GA for our annual girl’s trip. The weather was perfect, the food was unbelievable and the vibes were immaculate (minus the lack of mask wearing — hello we’re still in a pandemic people).
Where We Stayed: The Brice, Kimpton Hotel on 601 E Bay St. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, the room was clean and the 4-5pm daily happy hour was fabulous! The only negatives I had was the billing issue (charged my card double because they mistook my reservation for another with a much larger party) and the parking ($28 a day– a bit much). All in all, a 4/5 star experience with a hotel in a really nice location.
What We Did: We walked all around Savannah (minus a Lyft to beautiful Forsyth Park) and did some sight seeing, picture taking and had some amazing girl time. We also got up and caught a hazy sunrise at Tybee. Savannah is ideal for a relaxing, low-key girl’s weekend. We had an incredible spa day at Spa Bliss Savannah where I got my first massage. Needless to say, I’ll be adding this whole massage and facial thing to my daily life.
What We Ate: If you know me, I love food. I wanted my bestie to get the full taste of Sav so I tried to pick a mix of Asian, Italian, and of course Southern restaurants to get our palettes satisfied. This may need to be a separate post, let me know if you want to see that! For now, we did Maple St. Biscuit Company and Funky Brunch for brunch. Flying Monk for lunch and Co, B Matthew’s and Pacci for dinner!
