Why aren’t we wearing hats more as a society? I’m serious! A wide brimmed straw hat or sporty baseball cap add that little extra something to your outfit. Hats for summer are perfect, because y’all its HOT! Wide hats add a layer of protection for our hair and skin, but also add an extra layer of style to sundresses, matching sets and swimwear.
Depending on the look you’re going for, adding on a hat for summer look is simple! I’m a fan of adding wide brimmed, straw hats with dresses and sandals, but I’ve also styled it with a one piece swimsuit and a button down cover up. The options are endless!

SHOP STRAW HATS FOR SUMMER
A lot of wide brimmed hats are adjustable for the circumference of your head, if you look on the inside of the hat, there’s elastic. You never want your hat to be too tight, but you also don’t want it to be too loose either. A good hat should feel like a good pair of jeans, snug but not skintight and moves well with you!

A trend I’ve been getting into recently are bucket hats! They’re 100% on the causal side for hats for summer, but I think for casual farmer’s market days or park days with the fam, a bucket hat can be an adorable look!
I’m loving these girly, floral and more grand-millenial style hats cause that’s my personal style, but there really are sooo many possibilities.
